
The objective of “Fogons Ribes's Valley” is to search and disclose the basis of the Pyrinees traditional cooking, research its origins and characteristics and compile ancient recipes and old techniques to prepare the dishes. All this is done taking into account the recovery of the typical tools and products of this cooking.
The historical legacy and a handful of traditions have made the good cooking of this valley, together with the farm life, the farming, the livestock, the quality of the water, the validity of the pig slaughter, all the natural products provided by the environment, the handmade work and the conservation of some ingredients of the territory along these years.
